Peterson Sullivan, a Puget Sound top 7 accounting firm, announced today the promotion of Bob Bowman, CPA to Audit Partner and Codi Scott, CPA to Tax Partner.
Bowman, who has been with the firm since graduating from Washington State University in 2000, has more than 16 years of public accounting experience. He is a member of the Public Company, Life Sciences, Technology, Independent Schools, and Employee Benefit Plan practice teams. Scott, who has more than 11 years of experience in public accounting, has focused her career on tax compliance and consulting for individuals, trusts, family businesses, and family offices. She was formerly a senior manager at Ernst and Young before joining Peterson Sullivan in 2015, and is actively involved in the Real Estate practice team.

In addition to real estate, Scott works with a wide variety of clients, including those in the telecommunications and financial industries. She also has experience in federal, state, and international compliance for individuals, trusts, and pass-through entities. She is a member of the Seattle Children’s Museum’s Auxiliary Council, where she is passionate about their mission to bring to life the joy of discovery for children and their families.

Bowman primarily focuses his time auditing publicly traded and private companies as well as independent schools. His client portfolio ranges in diversity where he is adept at tackling technical issues and facilitating problem resolutions. He is also the vice chair of the Accounting Advisory Board in the Carson College of Business at WSU where he is able to use his knowledge of the industry to provide guidance to the school and students.
