Professional Experience

Sharlyn Turner has over 20 years of public accounting experience and has practiced in the Firm’s audit department since 1995.  Sharlyn works with a wide variety of industries including real estate, high tech, biotech, manufacturing, natural resources, oil and gas, investment pools, construction, and non profits, to name just a few, for both publicly held and private companies.  Her expertise includes financial reporting in accordance with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, including compliance with Section 404 of the 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Governmental Accounting Standards, including compliance requirements under OMB Circular A-133. She serves as a technical resource for her clients in current financial reporting matters, new accounting standards, and internal control processes.
