Ray Holmdahl, CPA, Partner

Professional Experience

Ray has been with Peterson Sullivan since 1980. He is the head of the Audit Department, Chair of the Firm’s Executive Committee, and he also serves as the Firm’s Quality Control partner. Ray works with clients in a variety of industries, including real estate, securities, hospitality, and natural resources. He also works extensively with nonprofit organizations, including governmental entities and pension plans.

Civic Activities

Ray is the chair of the WSCPA Peer Review Executive Committee for the State of Washington. He also chairs the Audit Committee for Wellspring Family Services, and was an individual volunteer for the year in 2005. In addition, Ray is a volunteer reviewer on the United Way of King County Audit Review Committee. He received the individual volunteer of the year award for Family Services in 2005. Most recently, Ray was appointed chair of the WSCPA Peer Review Executive Committee for the 2010-2011 fiscal year.

Education

Ray received his B.A. in Business Administration (Finance and Accounting options) from Washington State University, summa cum laude.

Personal Activities

Ray plays golf and is a regular at Mariners games. He also spends a lot of time keeping track of his two teenage children.
