Matthew R. Matson, CPA, Director

Professional Experience

Mr. Matson has been with Peterson Sullivan since 1988. He works extensively on the Firm’s governmental engagements (including many in the State of Alaska) and also reviews the majority of the Firm’s compliance audit engagements. Matt works with a variety of clients, but he primarily focuses on the nonprofit industry and public companies.

Education

Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and his Bachelor of Arts in Physics, both at Pacific Lutheran University.   In addition, he received the Elijah Watt Sells Gold Medal Award for achieving the highest test scores in Washington State of all persons taking the May 1988 CPA exam.
