Kevin J. Allison, CPA, Partner

Professional Experience

Mr. Allison has 29 years of public accounting experience, all with Peterson Sullivan. He has spent the last 26 years specializing in the automotive industry, auditing almost 60 dealer-related companies throughout his career. Kevin also advises auto dealerships (over 50 to date) during state and IRS audits, assisting with the implementation of internal control procedures that help safeguard dealership assets. He also develops and shares business planning ideas to increase dealership efficiencies.

Kevin was directly involved in publishing the initial sales and B&O tax guide for dealerships issued by the Washington Department of Revenue and the Washington State Auto Dealers Association. This tax guide is presently used by most dealerships in Washington State.

Kevin is also current chairman of the AutoCPA Group, a national group of prominent CPAs specializing in the automotive industry.

Education

Kevin graduated from Washington State University in 1979, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
