Professional Experience

Mr. Dunnell has over 20 years of public accounting experience with national, regional, and large local CPA firms.  Al returned to Peterson Sullivan in 2002 as a partner. He has extensive experience dealing with tax issues of corporations, partnerships, and high net-worth individuals.

Al specializes in working with high tech and other emerging companies in all phases of growth from start-ups to those publicly traded.  The following are just a few of the many companies he has worked with: AVVO, Big Fish Games, Cray Inc., and Zillow.  His experience includes assisting with mergers and acquisitions and multi-state tax issues.

His work with high net-worth individuals involves tax compliance, tax planning and estate planning.  He also works with a number of individuals involving cross-border tax issues.

Education

Al received his Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting at Central Washington University and his Master’s of Science in Taxation at Golden Gate University.

Al enjoys watching the Seahawks and riding his bike around the scenic Pacific Northwest.
