Seattle, WA β Peterson Sullivan LLP won two Marketing Achievement Awards (MAA) at the annual Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) conference on June 4, 2009 in Austin, Texas. They won in two categories: one award for public relations and the other for event marketing.
The 20th annual AAM-MAAs were presented in recognition of outstanding achievements in the area of accounting marketing and communications. A panel of judges, including seasoned professionals in the advertising, public relations, professional services, and marketing fields, evaluated nearly 250 submissions this year.
Accounting firms from all over the United States and Canada competed in two divisions: under $15 million in revenues and over $15 million in revenues. Categories included Web site design, collateral/identity materials, niche business development, and print advertising for CPA firms.

AAM Summit 2009: Marketing Palooza took place from June 2 – 5, 2009, in Austin, Texas. Each year the event continues to grow, with attendance of more than 400 accounting marketing professionals represented in 2009. The conference provided accounting marketers with tools, ideas, and strategies to help them excel in their careers and increase the profitability of their firms. This is one of the only conferences of its kind, devoted entirely to accounting firm marketing, and planned by accounting marketing peers in the industry.
